Okay girls---I'm seriously devastated! I was cold this morning so I allowed myself to cuddle up on the couch and watch my show (Bonnie Hunt) in real time instead of waiting and watching it along with my other taped episodes. She had on Carl Reiner---good show. He was delightful. Anyway, in the course of their talking it came out that THEY (whoever THEY are) have decided that her show is over as of May of this year. I am so disappointed. As all of you know, I seriously LOVE this show and count on it often to brighten my day. It's and 11:00 morning slot. What else could be so important that they need to take away my show. I'm going to see if there is somewhere to write a note of protest on her website--not that anyone will be swayed by my opinion. If you love her show as I do, maybe you could do the same.

I have only one of these kits remaining and have decided to mark this last one down to $25. Let me know if you are interested. Once this last kit is gone, watch for my sample to go on sale.

Our kids have recently gone back to school and you might need a place to house some school day's photos. My new 6X6 mini album would serve that purpose very well. The book includes chipboard covers, front and back and is bound with three metal rings. There are four chipboard divider pages as well as four cardstock pages. The book can easily be made longer by adding extra cardstock pages. The kit includes the chipboard pages, all the needed paper, ribbon, buttons and brads, the cutest specially cut school die cuts, a full sheet of school stickers from Pebbles Inc, a full set of chipboard embellishments from Doodlebug Design (they're called Whimsy Wafers---Isn't that the cutest?), and the three silver rings. I have included a picture of the album and one of one of the inside spreads here. These kits are offered for sale for $28 each. There are a limited number available. With your purchase you will be emailed full instructions which include a full set of pictures. Please contact me directly if interested.

YouTube - Kittens on a Slide Original Version
Hello Everyone!
It's me again with more smiles from the Bonnie Hunt Show. I know you're tired of hearing it from me, but I can ALWAYS count on this show to give me a smile or a giggle.
I often feel like I'm running as fast as I can but not getting anywhere. I think from now on when I feel that way, I will think of this little video, take a deep breath and try again---only this time with a smile on my face and a different attitude in my heart.
Enjoy!

New Year---New Calendar
Had to post a note to let you all know that we started off this year's Calendar Class off tonight with a bang. What fun it was to see nearly all of the classroom seats filled. We have a really great group of ladies this year and I am so thankful to each and every one of you for supporting me. I hope you all had a great time tonight and that you will all thoroughly enjoy the year!

tickling kitty - Google Search
Okay, as most of you know, I love the Bonnie Hunt Show and tape it to watch when I'm working at home or just when I need a little lift. The show always gives me a smile or a chuckle in some way. She has started ending her show with a "Feel Good Moment of the Day." She recently showed this adorable video of someone tickling a baby kitty which is one of the cutest things I've seen in a long time.
What joy pets can bring to our lives!
Now if that wasn't enough to keep me smiling, she then showed a little prank her staff played on her---too funny! This group just has too much fun working together. Her show pulls me into a place where they are all great friends of mine; I get to join in their fun, her mom Alice is my new adoptive mother, and I am part of her circle of family and friends.

Thankful

Thanksgiving and Black Friday are behind us now and I hope you all have enjoyed your holiday. I scrapped all day today with friends and get to do the same for the next two days. I am so thankful to be able to enjoy such a rewarding hobby. I have made so many wonderful friends and I want you to know that I am very thankful for each and every one of you who scrap with me, support me and share your friendship with me. Yesterday I had dinner with my dear friend Bevie and her family. I stole an idea for some cute turkey place cards from a friend, changed it up a bit and made it my own, to make them for her holiday table. I have shared a picture of them here with you. Aren't they the cutest? I like them so much that I am going to make some up to sell at my craft fairs next year.

Pets

Okay---so on my way home the other day, I stopped at Del Taco where I had a coupon and grabbed myself a burrito for my dinner. I had a lot to carry, so I put the bag with my burrito in it inside my purse. When I got in the house I put my purse on my dining table and was putting some things away in the kitchen. I went to close the door and saw that Peek-A-Boo (my dog) had left her baby (a stuffed dog) outside. I called her and told her to go get her baby. She came scampering past me to the outside to get it and I saw she had something large in her mouth---looked like a large white rawhide dog bone. Megan's pup had been over at one time with one so I figured that Peek-A-Boo must have found it in some secret hiding place where it had been forgotten. She took it out, dropped it in the flower bed next to her baby but didn't bring either inside so I went out to get the baby and bring it in. That's when I got a better look. There in the dirt lay my burrito. Inside on the table, the bag was still in my purse and the burrito wrapper was on the floor. So much for my dinner.
Pets---who needs 'um. I do, I know----but my entire burrito, come on!
