Project 365 Day 50

MONTHS ago in the dead of winter, my car's battery gave up the ghost and I had to have a new one installed. That engaged the radio's anti-theft thingy and my radio stopped working, It took me a long while to figure out what was going on, but finally discovered that I had to enter a secret code into the radio to make it work again. The secret code was supposedly on a card in the owner's manual---not so for me. Without the code, it said that you had to do a certain little trick to make the radio tell you what its serial number was and then call the Honda dealership, give them the serial number, and they would give you the secret code to turn your radio back on. This was all too much for me to bear, so I have been riding around with no radio ever since. These are the types of things for which I depend on a man and as you all know, I haven't had one for quite some time. I was to pick up my computer today (another horrifying story) so I got up determined to get some things taken care of that I have put off doing. I got in the car and tried to do the little trick with the radio so that it would give up its serial number to me to no avail. I decided that while out I would go to the dealer and see if they could help me. I took off, made a return at Michaels, picked up my computer at Best Buy (snarl), went through the drive through at Taco bell and headed down Kietzke hoping that's where the Honda dealer would be. It was and I headed into the service department with my tale of woe. The nice gentleman told me to pull my car right in and in less than 10 minutes my car radio was working and I was on my way. WHAT A DORK I AM! It has been months and months! Oh well, at least the radio is working again. Wish I could say the same for my computer! Now that I have made this post, I am headed back to Best Buy to find out why my USB port still doesn't work.
